Over 16-year-olds are able to receive their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine at Workington's Dunmail Park Shopping Centre.
Walk-in appointments are available between 8:30 am and 6:30 pm until Sunday the 23rd of May.
The vaccine type available is reportedly Pfizer.
While there has been concern around young people refusing to get vaccinated, the response at Dunmail Park has shown a large amount of young people in West Cumbria looking to get vaccinated.
With many people queuing up around the centre to get their first dose.
Vaccinated 21-year-old Louise Temple of Seascale, discussed her thoughts on the walk-in appointments with us. "I think it's a smart move because the 18-25 age group is the group that has been asymptomatic spreading it more. I think it makes sense to nip that in the bud."
