Eden Arts to Run Online Networking Event for Creatives across the A66



The event will feature a variety of exciting artists including those behind 'The Whale' that recently made an appearance on Whitehaven Harbour.


Brought to life by Eden Arts', 'The Sixty Six' project, the #66CREATIVES online networking event will give creatives the chance to connect with like-minded people and share knowledge and opportunities with one another.


Guest curator artist and filmmaker Richard DeDomenici will be taking the Zoom, with features from Captain Boomer Collective's Bart Van Peel and artspace and community hub Pineapple Black Gallery of Middlesbrough.'


Captain Boomer Collective are the team behind The Whale, which recently made headlines when it appeared on Whitehaven harbour.


Eden Arts Artist Zoe Forster said of the event: "We want to showcase the talent here and provide opportunity through collaboration as part of our 66 project."


It is hoped the event will be the first of many as part of 'The Sixty Six' project and creatives are encouraged to become a member of the #66CREATIVES.


The event is open to everyone living across the A66- all the way from Workington to Redcar and everywhere in between and will take place on June 22 at 10am.
