With the Summer Holidays fast approaching and Covid restrictions set to fully ease on Monday the 19th, it’s safe to say that everyone will be completely ready for an activity-packed summer.
One of the best ways to enjoy the summer months in Cumbria, is by getting outside and enjoying the warm weather before it inevitably turns into rain.
There’s no better way to do this than to go on a camping trip with friends, you could have a barbeque, play some great tunes and soak up the summer vibes and sun.

Orchard Hideaways is located in Redhills Lane, Penrith and offers camping pods from £59 pounds per night.
The camping pods come with free WIFI, free parking, barbeque sites, showers and toilets and complimentary toiletries.
Eskdale Campsite
Owned by the National Trust and located Holmrook, Boot, Eskdale. They have campgrounds, caravan and motorhome spaces available as well as 10 camping pods and a camping barn.
They also have free parking and free internet available. With a smooth tarmac path running throughout the campsite, disability access is good too.
Mains Farm Caravan Site
Mains Farm Caravan Site is located in Kirkoswald, Cumbria and has free parking, internet access and both campgrounds and places for caravans to stay overnight.
Waterside House Campsite
Waterside House Campsite in Pooley Bridge, Penrith is situated on the Northern shore of Ullswater and is open for camping, glamping and even Tipi hire.
Wasdale National Trust Campsite
Wasdale National Trust Campsite is located in Wasdale Head and has campgrounds, campervan spaces, camping pods and Nordic tentpis. The grounds have free parking and are pet friendly too.
